A large-scale IT forum Digital Bridge 2022 was held in Astana

The International Forum on Digital Technologies and Business can rightfully be called the largest event in the field of IT in Kazakhstan. At the international IT forum Digital Bridge 2022, the delegation of Uzbekistan took part in presentations and an exhibition with several IT solutions and startups.

On the first day of this forum, the Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov took part in the presentation of "Digital Uzbekistan", spoke in detail about the IT capabilities of our country and invited all participants to the events of ICT Week Uzbekistan scheduled for October 24-27 in Uzbekistan.

This year the theme of the forum was "Central Eurasia as a new technological platform". So, during its holding, 6 technoparks of the Turkic countries signed a memorandum of cooperation. The participants of the agreement were Sabah Lab (Azerbaijan), HTP (Kyrgyzstan), Bilisim Vadisi (Turkey), Bilkent Cyberpark (Turkey), IT Park Uzbekistan (Uzbekistan). Kazakhstan presented the International Technopark of IT startups Astana Hub. The agreement is aimed at the joint development of ICT and innovation ecosystem in the region. Within the framework of the forum, an exhibition of technoparks was held, where 13 technoparks from different countries, such as Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Palestine and Kazakhstan, took part. Attention was also paid to several topical issues, such as the development of the Web3.0 ecosystem and blockchain technologies, the protection of personal data in the development of digital technologies, ensuring the safety of children on the Internet, and the development of artificial intelligence.

Also, at the international forum on digital technologies and business, on behalf of UZINFOCOM Unified Integrator LLC, the head of the Domain Zone Administration made an official welcoming speech and participated in a panel discussion.UZ, in addition, the head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence of UZINFOCOM with the MyID project acted as a speaker - biometric identification, which provides identification and authentication of individuals by unique biometric parameters of a person to provide them with authorized access to banking and other services both remotely and locally.

In general, about 25 thousand guests, over 300 IT companies, 200 speakers from 15 countries, 150 venture investors and business angels took part in the Digital Bridge 2022 forum. Within its framework, large-scale events were held: 49-panel sessions, an exhibition of technoparks and IT schools, an alley of IT startups, an IT job fair, Astana Hub Battle, VR, GameDev and various thematic sessions.
