Registrars of the .UZ domain zone participated in a seminar on the topic "Features of trademark use in domain names," organized by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the support of the Single Integrator UZINFOCOM as part of the "Month without counterfeits" program.

The seminar was organized with the aim of improving the protection of trademarks in the .UZ domain and preventing cases of illegal use of other trademarks in domain names.

Participants discussed the peculiarities of using domain names and trademarks, cybersquatting and its state regulation, as well as examined cases of intellectual property rights infringement on the example of various companies.

It is worth mentioning that LLC "Single Integrator UZINFOCOM" is the administrator of the .UZ domain zone, provides technical support for the operation of the root server, updates the DNS database and the main registry, ensures the operation of the "whois" service, updates the database to allow unimpeded access to information by any person.
