From November 9 to 17, 2024, the annual Ethereum Devcon conference for developers, thinkers, and creators was held in Bangkok, Thailand. This event brought together blockchain community representatives from around the world in one place.

The main goal of Devcon is to promote decentralized technologies and increase the global accessibility of Ethereum.

For the first time, the Single Integrator UZINFOCOM participated in Devcon, demonstrating Uzbekistan's commitment to integrating cutting-edge blockchain technologies and strengthening its position in the global digital ecosystem.

Representatives from UZINFOCOM held productive discussions with leading industry specialists, exploring the potential applications of blockchain technologies in domain management and the creation of secure digital infrastructures. Particular attention was given to international cooperation and the exchange of experiences.

A key highlight of the conference was the presence of Vitaliy Buterin, the creator of Ethereum, who shared his vision for the platform's future and its role in building a decentralized internet.

Devcon opened new opportunities for applying blockchain technologies in domain management. One of the potential directions includes expanding the domain name auction system using blockchain, which would enhance transparency and fairness in domain name allocation.

It is worth noting that since 2023, the .UZ domain administration has been utilizing blockchain technologies to issue NFT certificates for domain names and operate the Token.uz blockchain platform.
