The administration of the .UZ domain zone, in collaboration with The Uzbek Commodity Exchange, has launched the domain.uzex.uz (https://domain.uzex.uz/home) (auction.cctld.uz) service for expired domain names in the .UZ zone.

We are pleased to announce the launch of the domain.uzex.uz (auction.cctld.uz) service for expired domain names in the .UZ domain zone. Now, every user has the opportunity to acquire expired domains through a fair and transparent auction system.

Domain names that fall under the Auction category, after passing the Redemption period (the recovery period following the expiration of registration), will be listed on the domain.uzex.uz (auction.cctld.uz) platform for competitive bidding. This provides everyone with the chance to participate and compete for valuable and in-demand domains.

The auction will feature the following categories of domain names:

  • Two-character domains
  • Three-character domains
  • Four-character domains
  • Premium category (these are beautiful, catchy, and easy-to-remember domain names, often consisting of commonly used words).

Special attention should be paid to the Premium category, where artificial intelligence (AI) will select the most valuable and attractive domain names. The AI will analyze various factors such as keyword popularity, trends, and domain relevance to offer the best options for auction participants.

The launch of the Auction can also stimulate competition among large companies, startups, and individuals seeking short or memorable domains. This opens new opportunities for businesses, especially given the growing popularity of internet projects in Uzbekistan.

To ensure maximum transparency, all events related to the auction will be stored on the blockchain network of the Token.uz platform. This guarantees full data protection and fairness of the process.

Moreover, part of the proceeds from the auction will be allocated to charitable projects, allowing us to contribute to the development of society and support important social initiatives in Uzbekistan.
