The Future of DNS and the Development of International Cooperation at the ICANN 82 Forum

From March 8 to 13, the ICANN 82 Community Forum is taking place in Seattle, Washington. This is a key event where the ICANN Board interacts with various community groups, and the communities themselves have the opportunity to discuss pressing issues affecting the global development of the Internet.

One of the central topics of the forum remains the Domain Name System (DNS) and its future. As part of the event, the results of the work of the Next-Generation DNS Working Group were presented, which includes representatives of the .UZ domain administration.

During a special session, a representative of the working group presented the results of research and discussions on exploring the possibilities of introducing new technologies into ccTLD registries. This will enhance the value of domain names for customers and stimulate the growth of the domain registration industry. These initiatives are particularly important for the development of global digital infrastructure and the adaptation of DNS to new technological challenges.

The ICANN 82 Forum provides a unique opportunity for experience exchange, the search for innovative solutions, and strengthening international cooperation in the field of Internet governance.
