On 10 December 2025, the .UZ Domain Administration took part in the third meeting of the multistakeholder advisory council dedicated to assessing Uzbekistan’s internet landscape based on UNESCO’s Internet Universality Indicators (IUIs). The event was held at the Mercure Hotel in Tashkent and brought together representatives of government bodies, international organizations, expert communities, and industry participants.

During the meeting, UNESCO experts presented key findings and recommendations from the National Report assessing the country’s internet landscape. Participants discussed the level of development of digital rights, internet accessibility, the regulatory environment, and prospects for implementing international standards in the field of internet governance.

Following the event, the parties outlined directions for further cooperation and strengthening collaboration within UNESCO’s initiatives aimed at improving Uzbekistan’s digital ecosystem.
