On September 15–16, 2025, the 18th International Conference for Administrators and Registrars of Country Code Top-Level Domains of the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe — TLDCON 2025 — is taking place in Kaliningrad. The event is organized by the Coordination Center for TLDs.

The forum has brought together representatives of registries, international organizations, and experts in domain name management. Participants are discussing the development of the domain industry, cybersecurity issues, and new technologies.

The .UZ domain administration delivered an online presentation on the launch of the Domain Name Auction. The presentation outlined the project’s objectives, its importance for infrastructure development, and the benefits it offers to domain owners and registrars.

It was emphasized that the auction platform will ensure transparency of bidding, efficient distribution of Premium domains, and the implementation of innovative solutions, including artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies.

Participation in TLDCON 2025 has become an important step in promoting the international image of the .UZ domain and showcasing progressive initiatives within the national internet segment.
